This is a set of Four VP Pro Gripz Evo 1/8 Buggy Tires, in Ultra Flexx (Ultra Soft) compound, Pre-Mounted on yellow dish wheels. The Gripz is a dual stage medium pin tire with bi-level pins that was developed to survive long main events. The bi-level pin provides maximum traction, especially when used on uneven surfaces. The small top pin provides traction on dusty, hard packed dirt, as well as soft loamy dirt, while the lower tri-pod shaped pins provide traction and stability on hard packed dirt. The Gripz tire provides the most traction of all the VP-Pro tires and works best on tracks where traction is minimal.

Flexible Belt Technology: As engines become more powerful and gear ratios are improved, 1/8 scale cars are reaching higher top speeds than ever before. Its important that your tires transfer that power to the racing surface efficiently. The Evo tire line features VP-Pro's "flexible belt technology" that uses supporting inner ribs to strengthen the sidewall of the tire, reducing sidewall flex. This allows the tire to remain flatter during acceleration, which means regardless of whether you are accelerating or cornering the tire will have maximum contact with the track surface, providing increased stability, faster cornering response and improved wear characteristics.

Ultra Flexx: The Ultra Flexx Compound is VP's ultra-soft compound which provides maximum traction on nearly all off-road surfaces, especially hard packed surfaces, dry or damp. Ultra Flexx Compound is the softest compound tire in VP's lineup and works great in bumpy conditions as the Ultra Flexx pins will not catch ruts under impact. VP team drivers use the Ultra Flexx compounds during qualifying runs for maximum performance.
